TwitterSpud: Micro-Narrative and Marketing?
TwitterSpud is an interesting project…
This site is an experiment in seeing if the immensly popular and equally baffling Twitter can be used as a form of storytelling.
I came up with the idea of a scenario of 2 ex-lovers in a quarrel which happens to take place on Twitter. The protagonists are 2 main characters in a graphic novel Daniele is working on; Spud and Willomina.
Marketing provocateur (and one of my online and offline heroes) Brian Clark frequently includes the importance of narrative in his discussions of effective marketing. This could be a compelling test bed for possible marketing applications within the Twitter platform in the form of narrative.
We are humans… we love stories.
