One of my favorite people on the web,Jason Calacanis, announced the alpha release of the human power search motor, Mahalo a few weeks back.

How about an affiliate program?

Calacanis hasn’t responded to the question on Facebook yet. Human powered queries are the ultimate future of finding things on the web, and the promise of affiliate marketing from the 90’s.

It is highly interesting to me that the professional arm chair pundits / trolls enjoy making predictions about the affiliate marketing industry based on market factors from 5 years ago without adequately assessing what the social web means for the future of online marketing.

This is exactly the type of area where affiliate marketing can (and will) ultimately thrive and show it’s own in a non-scaled relationship based foundation.

Come on, Jason… give us an affiliate program.
