Magpie - New Advertising Network for Twitter

I just found out about a really cool new advertising network for Twitter, called Magpie. It looks really cool, so I have signed-up to check it out. It offers a way for Twitterers to make money which is really cool. They offer ways for advertisers to get their message out in a controled way. I plan on letting all the advertisers I know about this new service.

    Personally I think Magpie could be the beginning of the end for Twitter if it gains a lot of adoption. If you make Twitter just another venue for serving ads it loses it's soul and usefulness. Just another system to be gamed if you start polluting it with spammy ads.

    Seems like there is a new way to blast ad messages every day, a lot of affiliate programs now have the option to broadcast as well as many other profit and non profit companies. It won't be long before twitter gets swallowed up by Google.
    I can see more dynamic uses's for your twitter background coming out in the next few months, some users are already using redirects and profiting from them.
