Linkshare Peddling ShoeMoney Tools

Just got another email from Linkshare peddling ShoeMoney tools! Thought it was funny (but not funny) that they are trying to make money off their affiliates! You know Linkshare is making an affiliate commission on the $79/month price tag (that magic price point charged for supposed Internet stuff). Woopie..you get the first month for $3.95. Most of these tools are available for free from other sources. Affiliates should never have to pay for tools to help them be better affiliate marketers. Linkshare should put together their own suite of tools instead of reselling ShoeMoney’s tools. They must think he’s so great, but I don’t see it. It’s also funny that they are offering the same deal ShoeMoney offers to his newsletter subscribers and for the first 50 that respond…classic cheesy marketing!

I despise lnkshare and here's why-

1. they owe me $30 for over 100 bookings (yes terrible commissions) made on my website www.festivalpig.com in the first week of March for www.kayak.com

2. They deny that these bookings ever took place and removed the money from my account!!!!

3. They act like nothing has happened and never gave ma a reason why- however they took money from my earnings with no email to confirm this- just removed it!

4. The way they handled it was to ask me to contact kayak.com who never replied

5. I would warn anyone against this type of service- imagine a company that can pull money from your account and give no reason

6. They have not paid me since March

Actually, I'm thankful to Evan for telling it like he sees it. I distinctly remember during his presentation in Denver, when he started talking about how you really don't need to fork over lots of money to various persons for their training programs, tool packages, etc., what a feeling of relief I felt.

As for Shoemoney, if others find his stuff useful that's cool. My own personal thoughts started off being disappointed that his free marketing course seemed to be a thinly disguised pitch to get you hooked into the shoemoney tools.

I totally agree with you, Linkshare, CJ and other networks should be providing free tool to help affiliates be more successful. It would make a lot of sense for them as well.

Not really dissing anyone...stating my opinion on charging affiliates for tools. I'm not a big fan of gurus that make money off of affiliates...that's just me.

BradBone - Your comments are idiotic. Evan is telling it as he's see's it, which is usually right on target. Should he sugar coat it or not say anything so people get ripped off or buy something that is free? Your comment about being disappointed to see him "dis anyone in public" shows that you are either involved with Shoemaker, Linkshare or just a stupid twit who thinks Sarah Palin can run our country. Should we suppress information that will help people or keep quiet so everybody get's taken and screwed?

I plan on becoming a time traveler so I can go back in time and watch everyone board the Titanic, watch people get on the Hindenburg for the trip to NJ and drive down to ground zero on Sept. 11, 2001 to get a front row seat to see the planes hit. Does this sound like the right thing to do OR would you say something to try and stop these things from happening if you could? Using your thinking, you would just sit back and watch.
