I love widgets.  I’ve blogged about widgets more than any other subject here (yes, including Twitter).  My favorite post is this one about the future of affiliate marketing and widgets from way back last fall.

So, it made my day to see Andy Beal, Susan Mernit and Jeff Jarvis raving with widget mania today.

Seriously… this is the future of online marketing.  We will be accessing web platforms via rich desktop applications, widgets and feed readers.  Google knows this and they are acting on it with Gears.
