Talk of the town is that Amazon is buying Netflix.

I use and love both of those services, so I think that would be a great move.  They need each other.

However, there’s also talk that Yahoo is heating up its pitch to buy Facebook.  Facebook turned down a billion dollars last year, but this post says that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is holding out for 2 billion.

If Yahoo buys Facebook, put Yahoo back on the map.  Facebook is so incredibly important as a medium of message and communication, even more so with the opening up of its applications menu.

For me, Facebook has become a social starting point during my day and is starting to rival email.  If you want to get in touch with me, you have a much better chance of sending me a Facebook message (username “samharrelson”).
