Hey all! Affiliate Convention Denver 2009 was a great show with lots of great speakers and awesome attendees. I gave 2 presentations on Affiliate Marketing 101 and I think they went quite well. Thanks for the slides in the post. It's easier to absorb information when presented with slides and text. I'll keep at this I.M. thing as well.

Life has dealt me a series of bad blows and I have been trying to do this affiliate marketing thing and haven’t got any where with it. Is it even worth my time and effort.

I think its a great strategy to buy existing domains with PR and rankings. Make sure they have good, solid Google rankings but running searches on their indexed pages. Of course its on a case by case basis but you can get somewhere that way...

Thanks for the slides... What are your thoughts on buying existing sites through Marketplaces like SitePoint/Flippa that already have inbound links and PageRank?
